According to the Facebook post on both the Lincoln County Sheriff's page and on Lincoln County Rants and Raves, many of the Lincoln County law enforcement and first responders decided to make a kid's birthday special during this time by parading in front of their house.

Lights and sirens blaring the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Shoshone City Police, Lincoln County EMS, Shoshone Fire Department, Richfield Fire Department, Dietrich Fire Department and Dietrich QRU got together to give this little boy something special for his birthday, a full parade in front of his house.

Love doing this for the kids! Sheriff R. King

During times like this it must be hard for kids who have birthdays and are unable to meet with friends or have a party. It has to be especially hard for those families who have lost income and may not be able to afford birthday presents. These types of "gifts" that can be given to the community are virtually free and worth the smiles of children.

Maybe these people just inspired this child to also go in the field of saving lives and protecting others. There are so many amazing law enforcement and first responders in this area, the Magic Valley is truly blessed to have them.

These men and women are making a huge impact on the life of the children and their community. It is always great to see how they go above and beyond and show a side that isn't just showing up when something goes bad.
