Lottery Jackpot Getting Heavy
BOISE, Idaho (KLIX) As the Powerball jackpot reaches half a billion dollars, Idaho Lottery officials are again reminding people to play responsibly. The estimated jackpot for Saturday is expected to be $478 million.
“When there is this much excitement for a draw, we want to remind everyone to only play what they can afford, not to go overboard,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director in a news release. “It only takes one ticket to win.”
Despite no one getting the jackpot there were still 10,000 winners in Wednesday nights draw totaling $52,000. The upcoming draw is the fifth largest in Powerball history.
Players have until 7:55 p.m. MT on Saturday evening to purchase a ticket to participate in this Powerball draw.
Don't forget to sign the back of any tickets you buy and keep them in a safe place before claiming the prize.
