Heartbroken Utah Dad Designs Late, Handicapped Son’s Grave
There are some stories that when you first hear of them, you can't wait to share it with others.
This is one of those stories.

The Salt Lake City Cemetery features hundreds of grave markers carefully crafted at the request of loved ones to honor those who have passed away. Matthew Stanford Robison was born September 23, 1988. He was diagnosed immediately with an illness that meant he was never going to function like a normal, healthy child. Matthew was given just days to live, according to findagrave.com.

Thanks to the terrific care and attention from doctors and the exceptional love and rare kindness of his parents, Matthew lived to the age of ten.

The child's grave marker depicts him with the strength to break the confines of his wheelchair, and with legs strong enough to stand and reach for God's portal to heaven, according to findagrave.com.
I'll be traveling to Salt Lake City in March for a hockey game, and I'll be asking my 10-year-old son to place flowers at the grave of Matthew. I can't wait to see this beautiful symbol of a father's undying love for his son; we will not forget a teddy bear, either.
Love can also be incurable.
