
Missing Hiker’s Phone Pinged In Woods South Of Presley ID In 2020

The last time friends and family of Shelby Campbell heard from her was September 8, 2020, according to information provided by The Utah Department of Public Safety and The Aware Foundation. Campbell had planned to do some hiking in the mountains approximately 75 miles south of Preston, Idaho, which is where her cellphone last pinged a tower over four years ago.

Shelby Campbell is 5'9" and weighed approximately 150 pounds at the time she disappeared, according to her profile with the UDOS. She would be 33 years old today. None of her possessions, other than her automobile, has been found since searches began in September of 2020, according to The Aware Foundation's post.
Her exact location was thought to be the North Ogden Divide Trailhead, which is located approximately 42 miles southwest of Logan, Utah. She was driving a 2009 Nissan Maxima the day she began her hike; that vehicle was discovered near the trailhead. She had a backpack with her, which hasn't been found, when she arrived at the hiking site, according to The Aware Foundation.
