The search for a missing southwest Idaho boy has now entered its fourth year. Do you have information that can help reunite Michael Vaughan with his family?
On July 27, 2021, a five year old boy named Michael Vaughan disappeared from his Fruitland, Idaho, neighborhood.
The boy's mother checked in with him a short time before he vanished, sometime between 4:15 P.M. and 7P.M., according to information shared on a dedicated page on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's website.
Michael Vaughan Has Been Missing From Idaho Since 2021

Footage of a 2022 interview with two suspects was released by Idaho police following the disappearance, in which one of the suspects claimed his accomplice and girlfriend at the time helped bury the boy's body on their property. No remains of Michael have ever been discovered despite numerous attempts made by state law enforcement.

A computer-generated, age-progressed rendition of what Michael Vaughan may look today was also shared on the NCMEC website. The day Michael went missing, he was wearing a Minecraft shirt, blue shorts and sandals.
Fruitland is located 54 miles northwest of Boise and near the Oregon border. Michael would have celebrated his ninth birthday on June 24.
