Police in north Utah are still investigating a missing persons case from 2017 involving a freelance photographer who disappeared while on a hike.

Do you know what happened to Andrei Campana? His family has been waiting a long time for answers.

Woods Cross, Utah, is located 10 miles north of Salt Lake City and just south of the community of Bountiful. This is the area where Andrei Campana vanished eight years ago while hiking Mueller Park. There has been no trace of him since that morning in 2017.

Campana was last heard from on the morning of November 12, 2017, according to Charley Project. The Utah Department of Public Safety states he left his home shortly after 1 P.M. His car was discovered at approximately 3 P.M. at the park, according to the website.

Andrei Campana weighed approximately 170 pounds at the time he vanished. He has dark hair and dark eyes, and would be 50 years old today. He was wearing a black North Face jacket, blue shirt, light-colored pants, and hiking boots when he set off into the woods, according to the Charley Project.
