What Thanksgiving dish is searched for more than any other in Idaho? The answer sounds gross, but is actually quite awesome.

NOTE: no frogs are harmed in the making of this dish.

The New York Times did the research for each state's most searched Thanksgiving food. In Idaho, #1 is Frog Eye Salad.

All Recipes has the instructions on how to whip up this delicacy. You'll need mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple and marshmallows along with a few other extras to make Frog Eye Salad a reality for your Thanksgiving table.

NOTE: no frogs are harmed in the making of this dish. Great news for Magic Valley frogs.

According to their instructions, Frog Eye Salad takes about 15 minutes to whip up and half-an-hour to cook. That doesn't exactly make sense since their instructions don't include any cooking. Hmm. Oh well. I've learned to never argue with the cook if you want to be fed.

The rest of the Idaho Thanksgiving most-searched list looks fairly normal (which is strange for Idaho). Dutch apple pie, turkey pot pie and pumpkin bars made the list.

On November 24, grab a big spoon and enjoy a heaping helping of Frog Eye Salad and make sure you compliment the chef.
