Motorcyclist Disappears Aug 11 On Ride From Idaho To Montana
A search is underway for a man who was last seen in northern Idaho preparing for a motorcycle ride to Montana. Family and friends are asking for help with locating him.
Zachary DeMoss, 24, was last seen in Kooskia, Idaho, which is 85 miles southeast of Moscow. He was traveling with a group of bikers when he vanished, according to a story published on the Idaho Missing Persons Alerts Facebook page. DeMoss was a very experienced rider and has been missing since August 11.
DeMoss is 6'4" and weighs 300 pounds. He was last spotted along Route 12 near Eagle Mountain Trailhead on his black Kawasaki Vulcan 2000, according to content on the IMPA website. The distance between Kooskia and Missoula is approximately 140 miles, so anyone traveling between the two cities is asked to be on the lookout.
