Multiple Sources Claim Lost Treasure Buried Near Deep Creek
We've heard the story of lost treasure before, so we're always more than a little bit skeptical when someone claims that there is long lost treasure buried near us. However, when there are multiple sources making the claim, then you have our attention. That is what is happening here. Two major treasure hunting websites claim there is lost treasure buried somewhere near Deep Creek near Buhl.
Most of these caches are said to be hidden near Deep Creek, with one treasure in particular being valued at over $20,000.
The first site, Only In Your State, made somewhat vague references to the Deep Creek treasure with the following reference.

The Legends of America treasure hunting site provides a few more juicy details involving the cattlemen and sheepherders along with the hired guns that were brought into the fight. It also referenced the same area.
Today, it is said that during the range war, both cattlemen and sheepherders alike, cached their valuables in the area around Deep Creek and Shoshone Creek.
There are a zillion places to hide stuff in this area. That would explain why no one has stumbled across it yet. No doubt many kayak this area often. Have you ever seen any off the beaten path areas near Deep Creek that make you wonder?
