New “Cars” Album Slated For May
The Cars have new music coming out in May and after listening to their new song Blue Tip, I had to double check that it was new. It just sounds so Eighties. More after the jump.
The Cars new LP will be released in May and it's called "Move Like This."
The album, entitled Move Like This, will be their first since 1987's Door to Door (after which the band broke up) and includes the lead single "Sad Song," which will be officially released in March.
And the LP features their original lineup:
Ric Ocasek, guitarist Elliot Easton, keyboardist Greg Hawkes and drummer David Robinson (original bassist Benjamin Orr having passed away in 2000).
Nice and with new albums, a tour usually follows. While they have not yet release tour dates, the Cars will play at this years Coachella Music Festival.
Here's to the Eighties....lets bring back the music, just NOT the clothes.
