HANSEN, Idaho (KLIX)-A Declo man had to be taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck Wednesday night near Hansen.

According to Idaho State Police, the crash happened shortly after 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of N 3800 E and State Highway 50, when Fedy Lagunas, 20, failed to stop in a Ford F-150 pickup on N 3800 and was hit by the semi headed west on the highway. The impact sent the pickup into field were it rolled.

Lagunas was taken to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center by private vehicle with minor injuries, his passenger Cinthia Hernandez was not injured nor the truck driver, 33-year-old Michael Bladen, of Twin Falls. Twin Falls County Sheriff's deputies, Kimberly Police, Rock Creek Fire Department, and the Rock Creek Quick Response Unit assisted ISP with the crash. Everyone had been wearing seat belts.
