One Killed on Icy Roads in East Idaho

PRESTON, Idaho (KLIX) Idaho State Police say one man was killed while another injured in a head-on crash near Preston Monday evening.

Manueal Davila-Martinez, 59, of Preston, had attempted to make a left had turn off U.S. 91, but lost control on ice and slid into the oncoming lanes. ISP says Amanda Baker, 34, also of Preston hit Davila-Martinez's Chevrolet pickup head-on.

Davila-Martinez and his passenger Gildardo Davila, 37, of Preston, were not wearing their seat belts. The woman and young passenger in the other car had their seat belts on. Everyone had to be taken to the hospital in Preston, where Davila-Martinez died.
