I had no idea this was a thing. But, sure enough, there are lots of Idahoans who are renting fire towers in the Idaho wilderness for the sole purpose of camping fun.

Kudos to Only In Your State for noticing this before me. I checked it out and it's true. The US Forest Service is renting fire tower lookouts. The Forest Fire Lookout Association has a listing of what's available.

Deadwood is probably the closet to the Magic Valley. Here's a video where they show off their place.

If this all sounds like a good idea to you, Recreation.gov is your hookup for reservations. I would have to imagine that a weekend in a fire lookout tower would be one of the most unique things you could do this summer.
