Guy Takes Pregnancy Test as a Goof and Learns He Has Cancer

Like dogs, guys like to pee on new and interesting things. So when Redditor CappnPoopdeck spotted a pregnancy test that his ex-girlfriend had left in his medicine cabinet, the urge to urinate on it and see what would happen was obviously pretty overwhelming.

He indulged himself and, lo-and-behold, pregnant!

He wanted to share the entertaining results with his friends on Reddit, so he drew a "rage comic" about what to him was a humorous incident. However, one Reddit commenter had a response that wasn't so funny.

"You may have testicular cancer! Get to an oncologist, tell them you took a pregnancy test and it came out positive," he wrote. The science behind this internet diagnosis is pretty solid, as many testicular cancers produce the same pregnancy-test triggering hormone that a placenta would.

Nervous, CappnPoopdeck went to his doctor. And, yes, it was testicular cancer.

Luckily -- and thanks to reddit -- the growth was caught in its early stages. He will probably lose a ball but is also looking at about a 99 percent survival rate.

Moral of the story: the next time you feel the urge to pee on something unusual and tell your friends about it don't hold back. It just might save your life.
