Shoshone Falls is known as the 'Niagara of the West' with one caveat. It requires that a ton of water be present before it becomes its awesome self. But, even when the flow hasn't really kicked in thanks to winter, irrigation or whatever, it's still pretty great.

I spent part of the weekend taking some pics and video for you to check out if you haven't made the trek down the canyon to check it out this year.

One thing you'll notice is there are plenty of happy birds sitting on the now dry rocks surveying the food options. Before long, they'll need surfboards to sit in the same spot. I look forward to that time.
