Should College Football & Basketball Players Be Paid? [POLL]

I think college football and basketball players should be paid.  They are providing a service and their school is profiting from it.   Then again, college athletes are receiving (most of the time) a free ride and an education.  I still think they should be paid at least something. 

Maybe I'm wrong, I did receive a partial scholarship to the University of Florida but I was still a broke college student.  I remember living in the cheapest apartments that were sometimes not the safest or cleanest and I recall eating nothing but hot dogs and baked potatoes for months on end.  I worked over 40 hours while attending college full time.  It was hard.  It was worth it.  Additional help would have been very nice.

However, my college experience is probably completely different then that of a college athlete.  I still think they should be paid though.  What say you?
