The United States government has warned Americans who are planning to head to Mexico in the coming months about a very frightening threat recently aimed at the U.S. by a ruthless drug cartel reportedly in response to raids by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) and drug seizures in coastal waters.

It appears the Sinaloa cartel has sent a very blunt, and very stern warning to Americans planning to head south for some fun in the sun. Banners have been seen in many beach resorts threatening retaliation against us for recent drug busts and ICE raids, according to details shared by Yahoo News.

Violence against American tourists in Mexico has been taking place for decades, but now it appears this criminal network is trying to strike fear in vacationers, and further cripple the Mexican tourism economy, at the same time.

Mexico depends on American dollars, so this move will ultimately only hurt those 'south of the border.'
