Ever hear an old song and you are instantly transported back to where you were the first time you heard it?

It's weird how you can remember the way the air smelled, what you were wearing, what you were doing, who you were with, and what was happening.  Maybe it's a great memory or maybe it's a hurtful, horrible memory.  Either way, that is why I love music.

The other day, I was listening to The Snake while working out with my husband when all of a sudden Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me" comes on.  Instantly, I'm transported into my cousin's old car.  We called it the "Silver Bullet."  It was a silver Daewoo, remember those?

Not only were we rocking out to the music, but my cousin was serenading me.  This is a chick cousin of mine and she truly understands me.  We both have a strange sense of humor.  She still lives back in Florida, I miss her.

So while I'm jamming out to "Pour Some Sugar On Me", all the while remembering that great memory, I then turn and look at my husband sweating his ass off on the treadmill next to me.  Not to get all warm and fuzzy on you, but it was a pretty great moment for me.  Mostly because at our wedding, that very song was the one I picked for our first introduction as a wedded couple.

So am I the only one who does this?

What song invokes a specific memory like mine above?  What's the song and what's the memory?  Share your response in the comments below.
