Southern Idaho is One of the Few Places You Can Do This
It's easy to forget how exotic our landscape is in Southern Idaho. But, one photographer just shared a new video reminding us about one very unique thing you can do here that you can't easily do hardly anywhere else.
Nick is a photographer based in Portland, Oregon, according to his YouTube channel. He says he's been working professionally for himself for over 10 years. He just shared a video of his trip to Southern Idaho to hike in a lava tube.
I would highly recommend you listen to his description of his trip near the beginning of the video. He talks about "one of my favorite places I've ever been to in the United States. It's Southern Idaho...there are so many cool things there."
His destination is Craters of the Moon. If you've never done what Nick did, the Caves Trail takes you through 1.6 miles of terrain unlike just about any you'll find in the country.
Sometimes, it's nice to be reminded about how crazy awesome some of our scenery is. When you're so close to it, it can seem ordinary, but Nick's video is a reminder that it isn't.
