Idaho is home to Gem State Comic Con in Boise each year, but it is finally time for the Magic Valley to get a comic con, and this year that's finally happening.
While the most famous one in the country is Comic Con in San Diego each year, for those of us unable to make it, there will be a comic con in Idaho next month.
Make sure to mark your calendars and make plans in advance, to get to as much as you can. Here are some of the events taking place this weekend in the area.
There are 2 types of people at Comic Con.
The geeks of Idaho are going to love this, but this event isn't just for the nerds. Everyone can appreciate a good Comic Con event and we've got one coming to Southern Idaho this Fall.
As revealed yesterday, Batman vs. Superman will have a major presence at Comic-Con. The entire cast will be there to show off new footage from the film, and if rumors are to believed, we’ll also have the new Justice League assembled on stage. But, if you aren’t going to Comic-Con this year (or you simply can’t wait another week), we have some good news for you: Warner Bros. has released five new Batman vs. Superman photos for your viewing pleasure.
The nerds are Clark Gregg's people. The star of (what is it now? approximately 78?) Marvel's many films and television's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' has found his home amongst his many fans, especially those who attend the year's various Comic-Cons. Fresh off yet another Comic-Con, Gregg hit 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' to chat about the experience with host Jimmy Kimmel. In short, he loves it. But, then again, it seems like Gregg relishes his now-trademark role as Phil Coulson, well, just kind of a lot.
'The Legend of Korra' has gone through a lot of changes, which coincidentally happens to be the subtitle for Book 3 -- as Korra adjusts to a world that lives in tandem with the spirits and Team Avatar looks to recruit more Airbenders, four new villains have emerged, and all the remaining episodes have ditched the TV medium to be aired online at Nick.com.
Following the 'Legend of Korra' panel at Comic-Con 2014, we caught up with the faces (or, rather, the voices) of this series, Janet Varney (Korra) and David Faustino (Mako), to get a better idea of how these changes will impact the rest of the season, as well as the already-filmed Book 4.
