Few would argue that HBO's 'True Blood' has been limping to the finish with its final season, but the last bit of blood will finally drop on August 24 with series finale installment "Thank You." To wit, HBO has released their spoilery synopsis for the finale, along with a brand new look at this Sunday's penultimate installment, "Love is to Die."

Though perhaps not a breakout mystery success in the vein of 'LOST,' HBO's Damon Lindelof-fronted 'The Leftovers' has raptured plenty of attention in its first seven episodes. Now, with its inaugural season set to come to a close in just a few weeks' time, the pay cable network is officially coming back for seconds, granting 'The Leftovers' a season 2 renewal for 2015.

After six seasons, we're now in the midst of 'True Blood''s final outing, bringing the epic (and ridiculous and 'Twilight'-y at times) love story of Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) to an end.
