For many, living in Jerome, Kimberly, Buhl, or other smaller towns is more their style. Here are some of the reasons why it is better to live outside of Twin.

Keeping the house warm is a top priority, especially for those that have children or elder people living with them, but it can come at a big cost as well.

And traffic. Oh, my!

Two major projects in the area include an addition of fuel services to the Oasis Stop 'N Go, and a cluster of new homes being built off of El Camino Avenue West.

People are coming here faster than builders can keep pace.

Demolition has started on what was previously known as Whites Mortuary in Downtown Twin Falls so that more housing can be put in place. "Park Place" will be a residential development overlooking Twin Falls City Park.

I feel so grateful to have bought a home here in the Treasure Valley five years ago. Since then the market has boomed and there is no way I could afford a home in the Boise area now. A lot of people are being priced out to buy because housing is up 75%.

This has to be some sort of crazy coincidence, but the median age of an Idaho resident is almost exactly the same as the median age of Idaho houses.

Not far behind Idaho are some neighboring states.
