Living in Idaho now, I have learned that some breeds are not as well made for the conditions here.

A 4 year old boy was playing with a neighbor's dog through a chain link fence when the dog bit the child above the wrist and tore off the lower part of his arm.

The dog is female, and apparently is just looking for some attention, which the owner cannot provide due to working long hours.
