The Elmore County Sheriff says several dogs found recently died of "blunt force trauma" near Mountain Home. The sheriff's office says it began an investigation after a total of four dogs had been found near the railroad tracks.

UPDATE: Cassia authorities reportedly found the pickup, but no arrests have been made. Cassia County authorities have shared an image of a suspect vehicle after a fire destroyed a building and a pipe bomb was found nearby Monday morning. The Cassia County Sheriff's Office shared surveillance images of a white, small, extended cab pickup with a camper shell on the back.

According to information released by the Twin Falls Police, a 36-year-old California man was shot, but his injuries are considered non-life-threatening. Police have not identified the individual.
