Trent Reznor has added members of Jane's Addiction and King Crimson to a retooled new edition of Nine Inch Nails, a process Reznor says started with a friendly phone call to Crimson legend Adrian Belew.
Being sidelined after surgery isn't exactly a pleasant experience, but Perry Farrell has made the most of it by enjoying a creative burst that has resulted in as much as 60 potential new songs for the next Jane's Addiction album.
It's been a long eight years between albums, but Jane's Addiction fans can look forward to some new music just around the corner.
The band's new album, titled 'The Great Escape Artist,' is scheduled for a September 27 release on Capitol Records. It marks only the fourth Jane's studio set since 1988, and their first since 2003's reunion record 'Strays.'
