A United States producer of frozen meat products that ships nationally has voluntarily recalled two and five pound packages of its product containing ground beef. Sample tests have shown traces of two potentially harmful forms of bacteria.

A nationally sold brand of chicken flavored ramen noodles is being voluntarily recalled after specific ingredients in the packages may have a link to bacterium.

The vegetable assortments are sold in stores throughout the United States and Canada. Exposure to listeria can have serious consequences.

The recall includes an undetermined amount of ready-to-eat poultry products that may be contaminated with listeria.

The voluntary recall was announced on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website on June 18.
