Perrine Coulee Falls

Sometimes the thing that makes a waterfall attraction so attractive isn't the size but the adventure to get there or the ability to interact with the waterfall.

Box Canyon has been my favorite nearby destination since I moved here. I love the hike down the canyon and the trail that runs near the waterfall in Box Canyon.

The Perrine Coulee Falls is a great little hike I had no idea was an option in Twin Falls.

During the winter there are massive icicles, or the kids called them frozen waterfalls, all along the wall. The ice is beautiful and extremely dangerous.

I've lived in Twin Falls for almost 15 years and have seen hundreds of rock chuck, but this is the first time I've seen one that was albino.

The fall is ONLY 197 feet for crying out loud, and the fact he landed perfectly on a trail below with basically no room for error, is pretty amazing.
