In the past three months, my seven-year-old son has Covid-19, croup, and is now bedridden with the virus that has been rising in the Gem State since early November. He's missed 14 days of school since he started the first grade in September. The hacking and fevers just won't quit.

After standing in line for 20-minutes surrounded by people hacking all over the place, I was informed that the quick care doesn't allow walk-in Covid-19 tests. So, I went and had a rapid test done at a local immediate care facility.

If you, or your child have been experiencing coughing fits and sinus congestion that has been going on for more than four or five days, I urge you to pay a visit to a doctor.

RSV is the major cause for lung infections in young children during the winter months.
