TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-If you planned on swimming in Twin Falls the rest of the winter you'll have to find another swimming spot as repairs will have it shut down for more than a month. The Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Department said work to resurface the pool will start on Friday, February 4, and stay closed through mid-March. If you bought monthly passes, they'll be suspended during the work. Those with yearly passes will get them extended. If you need a place to swim during that time there are some options outside of Twin Falls that will require some driving.

Miracle and Banbury Hot Springs

The two swimming spots are about a 25-minute drive from Twin Falls west of Buhl down in the Snake River Canyon. Both pools are outside (uncovered) but are fed by hot springs that keep you warm. The Banbury pool is located right along the Snake River and features a large pool with varying depth and a diving board. It is open Monday to Saturday with varying hours. The Miracle pool is not as large as the Banbury pool and is the same depth the entire length of the pool. Miracle is also closed on Sunday with different hours during the week and weekend.  Check their website for hours and cost.

1000 Springs Resort

The 1000 Springs Resort is just down the road from Banbury and features an indoor pool with varying depth with a diving board and platform.  At one end of the pool is a balancing log and at the other end a place for small children. 1000 Springs is also along the Snake River not far from Hagerman. They are closed on Monday and open the rest of the week with varying hours. For more information go to their website.
