It currently feels like the entire city of Twin Falls is under construction. With the warmer weather comes road maintenance projects, and one Magic Valley parking lot that sees an insane amount of traffic daily might be in rougher shape than all others, and hopefully, the city has it in its budget to start repairs soon.

I'm sure the city is aware of the problem, and it will probably be just a matter of time before repair work begins there.

Along with April has come a crazy number of road closures and detours citywide due to improvement projects. From Falls Avenue to Blue Lakes Boulevard and Locust Street to Kimberly Road, the number of hard hats at work is astounding. As frustrating as it might be for locals, the work needs to get done, so patience will need to be exercised for the next several months.

It had been a while since I visited the Twin Falls Walmart. I needed some groceries Saturday, so I headed down, and the condition of the parking lot was shocking. There are cracks and holes as far as the eye can see, and it's very noticeable when driving around the lot.  I'm sure the city is aware of the problem, and it will probably be just a matter of time before repair work begins there.

Please remember to watch out for the men and women who are assisting with the repair work. Slow down when traveling through these construction zones.
