Idaho topaz seekers should focus time and resources searching near the Rocky Bar Mining District in Elmore County, Camas Creek in Clark County, and Big Horn Crags in Lemhi County. Another spot that is well-known for having the stone is near the community of Florence (Florence Mining District), 190 miles north of Boise.
