Many Idahoans might have gotten word of or seen for themselves the fresh batch of University of Idaho student murder crime scene photographs released by state police last week. To recap, these horrific murders took place over three years ago.

Former Washington State University criminology student Brian Kohberger remains locked up for the murders of the four University of Idaho students committed in November of 2022. He received a sentence of life in prison for his actions.

In the early stages of the investigation, most of us saw the same footage of police cars outside the dwelling where the students were found dead with crime scene tape surrounding the property. It wasn't until quite sometime later that pictures of the inside of the structure began appearing online, most of them showing clothes strewn about, messy beds, and an unkept apartment.
