WATCH: Hostile Drone Hysteria Has Apparently Spread To Idaho
Since we began hearing reports of drones buzzing over New Jersey, sightings have spiked across the western United States. Recent cluster sightings in California and Oregon made national news, and now it appears Gem State residents are pressing the panic button when it comes to tiny machines with propellers.
I'll admit it. I drank the enemy drone invasion Kool-Aid for a moment after people like quarterback Aaron Rogers started tripping out over sightings on the Pat McAfee Show a couple of weeks ago. Most videos I've seen posted by New Jersey witnesses clearly show helicopters and small planes being mistaken for these mysterious, aggressively piloted drones.
I think it's time we all take a deep breath and not bother people who do investigate real UAPs over what is so obviously someone with a drone hobby.
On December 7, multiple pilots including one flying for United Airlines reported a cluster of unidentified aerial phenomena flying over southern Oregon and out several miles over the Pacific Ocean. One of the objects came very close to striking one of the planes, according to audio released.
Over the past two weeks, multiple Gem State residents have contacted the National UFO Reporting Center over drone activity. On December 13, a Boise area resident reported a low-flying craft to the NUFORC. Videos from across Idaho, including one posted to YouTube from the city of Potlatch, show what are clearly drones being piloted by average human beings and not Russia, China, or some other hostilely led country.
The most recent Idaho incident reported to the NUFORC over what was likely another drone occurred on December 16 when another Boise witness contacted the agency over an object that was described as having "red and green lights" and flying at a low elevation. I think it's time we all take a deep breath and not bother people who do investigate real UAPs over what is so obviously someone with a drone hobby.
