Idahoans are just built differently. While trimming trees, it's important to be safe, and not wearing shoes or using a rope while operating a reciprocating saw 50 feet in the air and a few inches above your face is not recommended.

One thing you can say about people from Idaho is that they get s^#t done! Trimming tall trees on the property is usually a chore that people call a professional in for. And then some just take matters into their own hands.

Thankfully, the man wasn't injured and probably became a neighborhood legend if he wasn't already for pulling this off.

I'm not a fan of heights. We have three to four cedar and pine trees on our property and a couple of them are over 70 feet tall. So before the winter snow starts to fall, we have to have professionals come over and scale back our trees from power lines. I watch them sometimes in amazement and think, "You people are absolutely nuts!"

I came across a recent YouTube upload titled "Wait for it," and in the description line was #Idaho and Wowza!! Before I even hit play on the video, I spotted some frightening things. What first caught my attention was the image of a man on a tall tree wearing no shoes and not using safety rope of any kind while holding a sawzall above his head. That's three things right there that your average professional tree trimmer would probably strongly discourage.

Thankfully, the man wasn't injured and probably became a neighborhood legend if he wasn't already for pulling this off.
