Weird Idaho Law Featured on Conan
This law is 100% real, too.
I’ve always been a big fan of Conan O’Brien, dating back to his days at NBC. When I was a kid, my parents would let me stay up late to watch him after Jay Leno. My mother always thought he was a little too weird, which meant he was the perfect late-night host for me to look up to.
The extremely funny writers at Team Coco recently put Idaho in a segment they call, “Know the Law,” which highlights numerous laws that are definitely real. *wink wink*
According to Conan, Idaho state law says you can be married to two potatoes at a time, but no more than that. It’s a solid joke; Spud Polygamy is just good late-night humor if you ask me. Our Northwest neighbors were also featured in the segment. I learned that you can’t double parking your unicycle in Portland, and Seattle has a problem with two violent street gangs, Patagonia and North Face. You can catch all of the jokes here.
Bonus: Our best friend (who doesn't know we're friends) Aaron Paul used to give champagne to his fans.
