Ozzy Osbourne’s Tie To Idaho Ranch: His Only ID Show Was In 84
The music world is still reeling from the news that iconic rocker Ozzy Osbourne passed away Tuesday in the United Kingdom at age 76.
Although he only performed one concert in Idaho in his entire 56 year music career, he wasn't a stranger to the Gem State. The Osbourne name is on the title of a 130-acre ranch in Salmon, Idaho.
Osbourne recently appeared with his former Black Sabbath bandmates for a farewell show where he made several attempts to stand up but was too weak to. It's expected that he died from complications from dementia and health problems related to decades of spinal surgeries.
Osbourne Played One Concert in Idaho Despite the Family Owning Property in Salmon
The family's property, which is actually owned by Ozzy's son Jack, is known as 'Welders Ranch'. It was featured in the reality series, 'Jack Osbourne's Great Idaho Adventure'. The ranch is made up of more than 130 acres and includes many animals and an airplane hanger; Jack Osbourne bought the ranch in 2021.

Ozzy played one show in Boise in 1984 during his 'Bark at the Moon' tour, according to KTVB. Osbourne has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (2002) and is one of the few musicians to be inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) Hall of Fame (2021).

Ozzy Osbourne is best known for his songs 'Crazy Train', 'Iron Man', 'Mama I'm Comin Home', 'Paranoid', and 'Shot in the Dark'.
As a fellow Idaho resident and massive fan, I'd like to thank Ozzy for providing the world with his unique brand of personality and some damn good music for the past 50 years.
RIP Ozzy!
