The last concert poster I bought was in 2018. I saw the Smashing Pumpkins on their "Shiny and Oh So Bright Tour." I caught them while playing in Salt Lake City on September 4. I drove about six hours roundtrip from Twin Falls, Idaho, to see the band play live.
This September, I'm driving to Southern California to see Pearl Jam play at Doheny State Beach. I'll likely come home with a T-shirt, poster, or some other memento from the show. YouTube is full of channels by people who paint famous musicians.
Jefferson Wood is a Boise artist who has created posters for The Warped Tour, and bands such as The Black Crows, The Wailers, George Jones, ZZ Top, and many others. His 2010 Tom Petty poster for a show at the Idaho Center won numerous awards.
