My Dog Got Skunked – Oh It’s Summer in Twin Falls

Maybe I jinxed myself because this spring I kept telling our dog Wiley that it was going to be a skunk-free summer.  This morning that all ended.

I was awoken at five-thirty am to my husband repeatedly yelling "NO!"  Next, a horrible skunk smell permeated our entire home, which has been burned into my nostrils.  So the skunk-free summer has ended before it even began.

Am I alone on this?  Is my dog just a gluten for punishment?  Does your dog get skunked every summer too?
