Twin Falls Man Charged with DUI after Running Into Police Car
Buhl, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - A Twin Falls man has been charged with Driving Under The Influence, Aggravated Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Leaving the scene of a property damage crash and Open Container. Authorities say Craig W. Parker 49, was taken into custody Wednesday evening.
At 6:16 p.m., a 911 call alerted authorities that there was a reckless driver on Highway 93. One of the callers reported they witnessed the driver in a white pickup truck crash into a sign at Highway 93 and 3700 North, then leave the scene. The driver continued to follow the truck and update deputies on his location. Twin Falls County Deputy Gorrell was able to catch up with the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on Burley Avenue near the Big Dipper Drive Intersection or 1200 East in Buhl.
Reports say when the driver pulled to the side of the road he revved his engine placed the vehicle in reverse and rammed the rear of his vehicle into the front of the patrol car
