Two Utah Men Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges in Heyburn

HEYBURN, Id. (KMVT/KSVT) On Friday, two Utah men were charged with trafficking Cocaine after over a pound of the drug was found in their possession.

According to Minidoka County Sheriff Eric Snarr, Melvin E. Smith, 38 of West Valley Utah and Lenny Dale Bruemmer 38 of Salt Lake City were arraigned on the charges Monday where bond on both was set at $100,000 each. The street value for a pound of Cocaine is estimated at $30,000. The arrest follows an ongoing investigation by the Minidoka, Cassia and Mini-Cassia drug task force. The two were arrested in Heyburn, Sheriff Snarr said.
