Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Construction continues on the 38 million dollar upgrades to the Twin Falls Wastewater plant.

With the groundbreaking happening in April of this year, everything is on track for the project to be complete by December of 2015. In fact, the project manager says at this point things seem to be running ahead of schedule.

Shawn Moffitt explained, "this does give the city of Twin Falls a lot of capacity and when it is completed, it will definitely make the treatment plant a lot easier to run because we will have the capacity and it can grow even more because we can add more to it."

The treatment plant was nearing capacity before citizens of Twin Falls approved an election bond to pay for the expansion in March of 2013.
