Access Reopened to Shoshone Falls Park; Drivers Encouraged to Use Caution
The City of Twin Falls has issued a release stating that access to Shoshone Falls Park has reopnened.
Drivers are asked to reduce their speed and use caution on the roadway
The entry gate on Shoshone Falls Drive, which provides access to Shoshone Falls and Dierkes Lake parks in now open.
Drivers are asked to reduce their speed and use caution on the roadway, as city street crews are applying a de-icing agent to help deal with further accumulation.
The city closed the entry gate on Shoshone Falls Drive earlier this month due to hazardous road conditions for both drivers and pedestrians.
The public is reminded to not walk or drive beyond the entry gate when it is closed. The city closes the entry gate when weather or other conditions pose a risk to visitors' safety. (tfid.org)
