Apparently, the Hawk Tuah craze has spilled over into the Gem State. A motorist with a specialized license plate honoring the newly famous social media influencer was pulled over by state police and the audio is worth a listen to.

For those of you who don't spend every waking hour on your smartphones scrolling through social media feeds like the majority of the world's population, you might not yet know about the "Hawk Tuah Girl." I'm sorry to be the one to introduce you to her, and hopefully, you can forgive me for using up some of your brain cells to get you caught up.

If the audio is authentic, then there is at least one Idahoan driving around with a plate that pays tribute to the Hawk Tuah Girl. The audio has over 1,100 listens in the past two weeks, so at least some people are finding humor in it.

Hawk Tuah's real name is Hailey Welch. To make a long story short, she was interviewed in Nashville a couple of months back by a dude trying to make a name for himself online. Welch was asked some questions about her sexual life and her response went immediately viral. Now, she's showing up at concerts, on talk shows, and has her own merchandise line.

A YouTuber whose channel is named Citizen Joe recently uploaded some audio that is described as being taken from an Idaho State Police scanner. In the post, you can hear what sounds like an officer radio in a license plate number that reads "Hawk 2UH," and I will say hearing the officer's delivery is kind of humorous.
