DeOrr Kunz Gone 10 Yrs Now: What Do Idahoans Think Happened?

One of the most heartbreaking missing persons cases to ever plague the state of Idaho has just turned a decade old.

There isn't a person living in Idaho that doesn't know the name DeOrr Kunz Jr. He was just 2 years old when he vanished from the Timber Creek Campground in Leadore in 2015.

To this day, not a trace of the child has been found. Many believe that someone camping with DeOrr knows what happened to him, but there have been no arrests made in the case and the parents have been cleared of any wrongdoing.

The child's grandfather and a friend of his were also present at the campground when he went missing in daylight hours within close proximity to everyone. This case has been the focal point of numerous documentaries and state news reports.

Ten Year Anniversary of DeOrr Kunz Jr. Disappearance in Idaho Passes

Theories that have been put out there include being kidnapped by someone watching the family, a drowning, a mountain lion or bear dragged him away, or the possibility the child suffered a fatal injury or accident and was driven out of town.

No remains of DeOrr have ever been found in the surrounding hills of Timber Creek. Timber Creek Campground is located in east central Idaho, approximately 45 miles southeast of the community of Salmon.
