Did Mom Suspected Of Shooting Kids In Head At Park Flee To Idaho?
A gut-wrenching cold case that has haunted Oregon police for decades involving the murders of two young children in a park northwest of Boise, Idaho, still has no resolution for surviving family members. Three bullets were shot into each child while they played on a blanket that afternoon, and the woman detectives believe committed the atrocious act could still be enjoying her life and may have moved east and altered her identity.
There are a countless number of people who have gotten away with murder still roaming free all over the United States. Perhaps one of the country's most heinous, unsolved crimes took place on March 12, 1975, near the community of Estacada, Oregon. Lynne Brown, the mother of the two victims, has been wanted in connection with the crimes for 50 years now.

Lynne Brown would be in her early seventies today. She was known to be treated for mental illness in her twenties, according to her America's Most Wanted profile. Her 5-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter were executed that day, each taking three .38 caliber bullets to the skull and back, according to the AMW website.
This crime is so disturbing it's almost impossible to believe a mother could have done such a thing to her kids. Evidence in Brown's abandoned vehicle led authorities to determine that she was the prime suspect. Leaving the state and starting a new life would have been a likely decision Brown would have made if she was the one responsible for the murders.
