Do You Spank Your Kids? [POLL]

I'm going to be a parent soon.  To spank or not to spank?  That is the question.

In under a month (most likely), I'll be a parent.  My life has already completely changed and all I can think of is sunshine and lollipops regarding the new little man that is growing in my belly.   The deal is though, that eventually, he's going to need reprimanding.  I'm going to have to discipline my child so he grows up to be a contributing member of society.  Should I spank him when he's bad?

When I was a kid, I was never spanked, but I was very afraid of being reprimanded by either of my parents.  My dad just had to give me "the look" and I instantly shut my mouth and knew I would not do that again.   The same with my mom.
