East Idaho Department Announces Death Of Veteran Firefighter

An east Idaho city has lost one of its veteran firefighters. The news was shared Tuesday on the department's Facebook page.

Blackfoot Fire Marshall Ben Hirschi passed away earlier in the week. The city fire department shared a brief post on social media.

An exact cause of death has not been made available to the public yet. Services will be held at a Pocatello funeral home according to Hirschi's obituary.
