Filmmaker Who Leaped Off Idaho Cliff In 2018 Is Still Missing
A freelance filmmaker who disappeared under bizarre circumstances nearly four years ago still hasn't been located. The mystery began in October of 2018 in the woods of central Idaho.
On October 5, 2018, a young filmmaker named Terrence Woods did a very unexpected thing while in the process of working on an assignment with his crew. The disappearance took place near the community of Orogrande, which is located 380 miles northwest of Twin Falls.
The story of Terrence Woods is one of Idaho's most bizarre occurrences. According to information online, Woods was working with a film crew the day he went missing. With apparently no explanation, he jumped off a small cliff and began running into a heavily forested area. The incident has been featured on numerous websites and podcasts, and to date, Woods is still missing.
A Twitter page created in 2020 and devoted to the man shares additional information about what happened that afternoon in early October. The page, #findterrencewoods, currently has a couple of hundred followers.
Due to the remoteness of the area, it's only accessible during fall and summer months, and gets a large amount of snow annually. Several searches for Woods have been made by Idaho investigators and emergency crew, but they have turned up nothing concrete.
An update from December 2021 on the Twitter site still lists Woods as missing. It says he would have recently celebrated his 30th birthday.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Mr. Woods, please contact local law enforcement.
