Halloween Dog Costumes A Must At Upcoming South Idaho Pet Events
For southern Idaho dog owners who like to include their four-legged family members in the Halloween season of fun, some area events are approaching that cater to our favorite hairballs. Costume contests, giveaways, and treats will be a common theme at some of these family events coming up.
October is a wonderful time of year. The weather starts to cool off, those fall-flavored coffee drinks begin to call us, piles of backyard leaves make for a good frolic for the kids, shopping for Halloween costumes and decorations is exciting for everyone, and Halloween parties allow us to dress up and celebrate the season with family, friends, an even co-workers. Let's not forget about our pets this October.
All events are fall/Halloween-themed and offer fun for our beloved pets, and most importantly, a chance to show off those costumes.

This Halloween will mark the second year our Golden Retriever will be dressed up like the Demogorgon from Stranger Things. We enjoy walking him around the neighborhood so he can get a whiff of all the decorations Halloween lovers near us put on display every October. Our decorations went up in mid-September if that tells you anything about our family.
Between now and October 19, there are three fun events planned that are geared toward pets and the Halloween season. The first is the Waggin Tails Pet Fair on October 12 in Star. On October 18, the Idaho Humane Society is hosting a Harvest & Halloween Photo Shoot fundraiser in Boise. Finally, the Howl-O-Ween Costume Party is on October 19 in Garden City. All events are fall/Halloween-themed and offer fun for our beloved pets, and most importantly, a chance to show off those costumes.
