It's officially official: Raising Cane's has expanded and their newest location, in Idaho, is open.

The first location in the state has opened up on the busiest road in the entire State of Idaho. What could possibly go wrong!?

The Grand Opening took place on Tuesday, November 18th and while nothing went 'wrong', the expected chaos was certainly in full form. Do you remember when In-N-Out opened for the first time, just a stone's throw from where Raising Cane's now stands? Long lines, anxious customers, and a whole lot of traffic control...all of the above applied.

While the chaos didn't last as long as In-N-Out, a drive through wait will still take you about 30-40 minutes days after the opening. All for some chicken!?

Why does the Treasure Valley love a new fast food joint so much? We'll never understand--but the opinions online are certainly polarizing.

What are people saying about the restaurant, the chicken, or the experience online?  Well, it depends on who you ask.

One local 'TikToker' is pretty salty about the whole thing...

Members of traditional media and a select number of 'influencers' that run Instagram accounts highlighting business or local ongoings were invited to a 'soft open' the night prior to grand opening. The event offered a look at the restaurant to those who would be covering it--and helped staff get some practice in before the chaos.

An account dubbed 'OurTreasureValley' posted not one--but four videos noting that he was 'not important enough' to go inside. The user is literally walking around the outside of the business while the soft open appears to be going on.

The Raising Cane's fries don't even have that much salt!

Another local foodie made their way into Raising Cane's for a taste--and left disappointed!

Dubbed 'Potato Boy' on TikTok, the account seems to review just about everything in the area--from tacos to arcades.

This user brought in over 83,000 views on just one Raising Cane's review!  The review? Not so good.

@potatoguy2 Raising Cane is so buns had to go get Dave’s hot chicken and need a sponsorship by Dave’s hot chicken now. Raising Cane got no seasoning in their food. Their sauce is bun is over hype. They need to shut down this place ASAP.#boiseidaho #foodie #raisingcanes #daveshotchicken #meridian ♬ оригинальный звук - DST

'Buns', the user says--noting that the chicken has no seasoning.  He shows no more love to the fries, and notes that the combo cost him $17.

In a world where nobody can seem to agree on anything--Meridian's latest chicken joint is no exception. Some love it, some hate it.

Our consensus? Skip the drive-thru and walk in--it's quicker. Then you can decide for yourself.
